Local food secrets of Strathfield

This is a short but info-packed post for all you time-poor people.

The good folk at Big Splash Media have put together a video on the vibrant food culture of Strathfield.  FITK was delighted to be a part of it, and there are also cameos by people near and dear to me.

That video was just a teaser.

For a detailed listing of Strathfield’s great eats, categorised by cuisine and with a special section for sweet stuff (yay), have a look at the Strathfield Good Food Guide.

Besides restaurant listings, that guide also contains handy recipes provided by a chef for each cuisine.

The chefs share cooking secrets so that you can whip up restaurant-style dishes like Japanese Teriyaki Chicken (without bottled teriyaki sauce), Chinese Steamed Fish, Indian Ginger Marinated Lamb Cutlets and Prawn Risotto.

Here is the link to the Strathfield Good Food Guide.
